And for when coding for the servo, check <a href="http://www.tigoe.net/pcomp/code/category/code/arduinowiring/31" rel="nofollow">this</a> and <a href="http://www.arduino.cc/playground/ComponentLib/Servotimer1" rel="nofollow">this one</a> for testing. Enjoy!

This is a general comment about the header photo for your blog. It reminds me of Squidsoup. It is free and allows you to draw in 3-dimensional space: http://www.squidsoup.org/doodle/

Click on the screen, drag your mouse around a bit, then wait for the drawing to rotate and play some more!

Your living forest idea reminded me of the "sensitive plant": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mimosa_pudica

You can see how it responds to human touch here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVU1YuDjwd8

And over time on its own here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gaNj01DQNhk&feature=related

It was hard to tear oneself away from it at the botanical gardens--so fun to watch it respond!

I came across this today as well: http://smartboards.typepad.com/smartboard/files/bubblewrap.swf The pleasure many derive from popping those bubbles seems analogous to me to the fun of touching the sensitive plant and watching it respond.

Came across your blog through a Google Alert that I have set up on light. Love the posts!

Hard to tell who you are or what the purpose of your work is from the blog, but I'm guessing you must be a group of architects/artists/designers/urban planners from Germany or something?

At any rate, it looks as though you don't mind thinking across contexts and media, so you might find some of these links interesting.

This is a collection of things re: light: http://del.icio.us/chericem/light

You might find the links on architecture on this page useful: http://mlc2006.wikispaces.com/Architecture+and+Interior+Design

And the links on this graphic design page will also take you to some neat experiments with art, design, and interactivity: http://mlc2006.wikispaces.com/Graphic+Design

Happy browsing!

Thanks for the post. It was fun to explore. (And thanks for using the Snap Preview so I didn't have to click on everything only to discover I'd already seen it.)

You might be particularly interested in the work of this Design Research Studio: http://loop.ph/bin/view/Loop/WebHome The "Research Artifacts" section would be especially relevant to your work. Some of the commissioned work is also interesting.

You might like these too: http://graffitiresearchlab.com/?page_id=76#video

the trip was alright, it still seems a little bit unreasonable though. But it was good to breath city atmosphere :) and to see people interact with the city.
the inside lighting of the theatre really caught our attention, but the lighting in the area in general wasn't that inspiring. We thought about integrating light in places where people sit and spend some time. Another idea for the area would be to light up the cables and poles that hold the street lamps.
